Trip Itinerary
4:30 AM : Meeting Time at Bata, Hilton opposite Kencom
4:40 AM : Departure from Nairobi with one stop-over at Gitaru (snack shopping and bathroom break)
8:00 AM : Familiarization with the group, team leaders and guides.
Warm-up exercises and stretches
8:20 AM : Begin the hike.
3:00 PM : Finish the hike and warm down
9:00 PM : Arrival in Nairobi (Latest 10pm)
What to You Need:
- Hiking pants/ tights/sweats/gym wear
- Hiking boots/comfortable closed shoes (gym-like) with a good grip
- Woolen hiking socks
- Leg gaiters
- Thermal shirts/Sports bra/T-shirts
- Fleece jacket
- Waterproof jacket/shell jacket/poncho
- Fleece hat/sun hat
- A scarf
- Fleece gloves
Accessories & other items:-
- Snacks (Dried fruits/rice cakes/protein bars/peanuts/isotonic drink)
- Hydration bladder/water bottle (2 Liters)
