Why Nairobi National Park

What a day in this park looks like;

Nairobi National Park is a true gem, offering an incredible safari experience just a short drive from the city. It is one of the only national parks in the world that sits so close to an urban center, creating a unique contrast between wilderness and city escape. This park is home to a wide range of wildlife species, making it an excellent destination for both seasoned travelers and first-time safari-goers.

Recently, we embarked on an unforgettable safari and had the most incredible sightings in just four hours! We spotted an array of wildlife, including different bird species, a rhino and its baby, two adult rhinos, two lions, a flock of 10 giraffes, several antelopes, hippos, and even crocodiles basking in the sun. The diversity of animals and the sheer abundance of sightings made this experience truly remarkable.

One of the most exciting aspects of Nairobi National Park is its ability to surprise you at every turn. As you drive through the park, you never know what wildlife encounter awaits you next. The park’s open grass plains, scattered with acacia bush and dry forest, provide the perfect habitat for numerous species, including buffaloes, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, and a variety of bird species. The changing scenery, from open fields to riverine woodlands, ensures a dynamic and thrilling adventure with every visit.
