In the afternoon, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is famous for its dense jungle, birdlife, waterfalls, and being home to half of the world’s mountain gorillas.

Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Community Visit

Rise early for breakfast before reporting to the ranger station for briefing. Embark on a guided gorilla trek through Bwindi’s lush rainforest. Depending on gorilla location, the trek may take 30 minutes to 6 hours. Once you find the gorillas, spend one magical hour observing them in their natural habitat — an unforgettable experience.

Later, visit the Batwa Pygmy Community, where you’ll learn about their ancient forest traditions, hunting methods, and herbal medicine practices.
